Save Lusby, Inc was formed because the community demands responsible growth, no overdevelopment, and preservation of our fragile ecosystem.

Participated in Early and General Election partisan tents to inform Lusby about the Lusby Villas and what Save Lusby, Inc's beginning of the lawsuit journey.

Motion to Dismiss submitted by the land developer against Save Lusby, Inc. The Judge denied the defendant’s Motion to Dismiss on the grounds that a least one member of the petitioners met the prerequisites standing to file the Petition for Judicial Review. The Planning Commissioner's attorney was present at the hearing, but did not provide any stance in the matter.

Board of County Commissioners updated Residential Density for the Town Centers of Prince Frederick, Lusby, and Solomons from 14 residential dwellings per acre to 4 residential dwellings per acre. In addition, this applies to Residential-Office and Village Edge cases as well.

Judge Jatlistch, traveling judge from Anne Arundel presided the case. She ruled in favor of the Planning Commission’s process and decision to approve the project.

Save Lusby, Inc held a "Next Steps" meeting with the community to vote on pursuing an appeal to the Circuit Court ruling and take to the Maryland Appellate Court. Majority favored to push forward with our current attorney who has experience in Appellate and Maryland Supreme Court appearances.
